Max is my baby. He is growing up and is looking and acting less and less like my baby everyday. Except in one area...potty training. He wants nothing to do with it. He can't even be bribed with a lollipop. I just don't get it- all you'd have to do is mention chocolate and I would do whatever you wanted! The other day he was in the bathroom and I heard him struggling with something. I went in to check on him and he was pulling out his little potty. I asked him if he wanted to go pee and he said yes. So we pulled down his pants and off went the diaper. After sitting for a minute, he proudly stood up and announced that he went!! We were so excited and we danced around, and sang, and clapped, and rewarded him with a lollipop. I thought to myself, "wow- is this really happening??? Three kids and no diapers are heading my way! YESSSSSSS!!!" That was Wednesday night. It is now Tuesday afternoon and I am disappointed to say that was the only time since Wednesday that he has used his potty. I put him in big boy underwear on Sunday and he went pee twice and poop once with in a two hour time frame. After taking off the dirty underwear, I determined he has no clue what the "urge to go" feels like and we will try again another time. I am very disappointed, but Max is not. He likes his diaper.
